Bulkley Capital represented Dispatch Printing Company (Columbus, Ohio) in the sale of The Columbus Dispatch, the ThisWeek group of 24 suburban weekly newspapers and 7 magazine titles to New Media Investment Group Inc. (NYSE: NEWM).

The Columbus Dispatch, first published in 1871, is the sole daily newspaper in what is the fifteenth largest city in the U.S. and the fastest growing market in the Midwest. Bulkley Capital was engaged to assist the paper’s high profile family ownership in identifying and quantifying their financial alternatives in the context of accelerating and challenging industry change.
