Senior management leads purchase of Swiss-American Products

Bulkley Capital represented the senior executive team of Swiss-American Products, Inc. (Carrollton, Texas) in executing a management-led buyout of the company’s majority shareholder.

Swiss-American is a developer, manufacturer and marketer of clinically-proven medical grade skin and wound care products, including the Elta MD® line of professional use cosmeceuticals. When the company’s founder made the decision to sell, Swiss-American’s management team engaged Bulkley Capital to help design a structure and secure the financing needed to buy the business.

We assisted management in selecting a compatible private equity group to support the purchase and finalizing the team’s employment and equity participation arrangements. The result was a successful transaction that met the founder’s goals, maintained the company’s independence and created a meaningful economic and business opportunity for management.
